Tiny Homes with Big Intentions
Smart Design. Thoughtful Living. Community-Focused.
At Southern Artisan of Louisiana, we believe quality living shouldn’t come at the cost of affordability or connection. That’s why we’re creating a Tiny Home and Patio Home community designed for comfort, sustainability, and a real sense of belonging.
We’re currently planning a range of energy-efficient homes between approximately 400 and 1,000 square feet, thoughtfully arranged in a walkable setting with shared green spaces. The concept aims to balance privacy and community, with flexible lot sizes and accessible walkways that support a sense of community.
Why Tiny Homes?
Across Louisiana, tiny homes are gaining traction as a smart, affordable answer to housing shortages. With updated building codes and zoning support in many parishes, it’s easier than ever to build homes that are safe, lasting, and tailored to modern needs. Whether you’re looking to cut expenses, live more sustainably, or simply do more with less, tiny homes offer a flexible way to make it happen.
The Bigger Picture
For us, this is about more than just building houses. It’s about creating spaces where people genuinely feel at home. We’re collaborating with local organizations, navigating zoning requirements, and making thoughtful plans to ensure these homes remain accessible and affordable well into the future.
We are especially excited to explore opportunities in Acadia, St. Landry, Iberia, Evangeline, St. Martin, Vermilion, and Lafayette Parishes. These are areas with strong community roots and a growing need for well-designed, affordable housing.
