Why the Tree?

We have been asked before… why is there a tree in your logo? The tree in our logo is actually very important to us! Here are the reasons a tree is part of our logo and branding.

Building Materials

At the most basic level, homes are made from trees.
From framing lumber to trim, flooring, and finishes, wood is one of the core materials that makes construction possible.

The tree in our logo is a reminder that every home starts with natural resources — and that those resources deserve respect and responsibility.

Preserving What Makes a Property Special

Whenever we step onto a build site, our goal is simple:
preserve as many existing trees as possible.

Mature trees provide:

  • Natural shade and cooling

  • Character and curb appeal

  • Environmental benefits like cleaner air and stormwater absorption

Instead of clearing lots unnecessarily, we carefully plan layouts to work with the land — not against it. Many of our homeowners choose their lots because of the trees on them, and we believe those trees should be part of the final home, not sacrificed for convenience.

Giving Back to Nature

When preservation isn’t possible, we make it a point to give back.

Our mission is to ensure that every home we build includes at least one new tree planted — a tree that will grow tall, provide shade, and become part of a family’s story for generations to come.

It’s a small action that creates long-term impact.
